Cait Bliss joined the coaching staff for the Poly Prep Speech and Debate Team as a speech coach in 2017 and became a faculty member as the Associate Director of Speech in the fall of 2020. She prepares students in Dramatic and Humorous Interpretation, Prose/Poetry, Declamation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, and Congressional Debate for competition in local and national tournaments. She is a professional actor with experience in stage, film, television, and voiceover. Her work has premiered at the Lincoln Center, South by Southwest Film Festival, and Reykjavik International Film Festival. Cait grew up in the Hudson Valley and went on to attend Smith College where she received a BA in Theatre Arts. Since 2008, she has called Crown Heights, Brooklyn her home, where she enjoys gardening and painting in her spare time.
